Theme #5 Introduction

"For Sale. Baby Shoes. Never Worn."

I feel as though Hemingway is showing that a baby was born and somehow died and now the baby shoes are for sale, never worn.

    That was the same interpretation I had. Do you think there could be a more positive interpretation of this story?
